Chapter Five

Jeden

“It’s been over an hour,” Halyrion growled.

“Leave him be, it’s his first. He’s waited long enough for an Omega, he deserves to enjoy it.” Mordek’s low voice pulled him towards consciousness, the perfect warmth of Karissa’s body draped over his bringing a smile to his lips.

“No,” Jeden answered, using the tone that reminded the other Alpha of his rank in the pack.

“You did well, brother.” Mordek spoke again, amusement in his tone as he sat on the edge of the mattress closest to them. There was no urge to snap at his Alpha though, the male had shared the pair bond just as he had promised. Rubbing his chest, Mordek leaned even closer, his gaze roaming over her back and ass. “Do you feel her?”

“I think… yes.” Seeking out the new thrum in his chest, he focused on it. It was like a low buzz now, hovering somewhere inside him, almost imperceptible… but he remembered how it had felt the moment her teeth sank into his shoulder.
